Anderson Mill Scholarship Application

Dear Student:

This year Historic Anderson Mill will award our Schulze—Hensel scholarship of $3000 to a single student to be chosen from applicant submissions from local area high schools; Cedar Park, Leander, Vandegrift, and Westwood. Applications accepted Feb. 15, 2025 - April 2, 2025

This annual scholarship requires the student to be a graduating senior. This scholarship is awarded based on financial need, overall academic demonstration, educational activity involvement and individual written statement. 

The full amount of the scholarship will be valid only in the current year and will be sent directly to the recipient’s college or university.

Please complete the PDF application form and attach ALL requested information including your FAFSA or TASFA Student Aid Report 

Please bundle or zip all PDF documents and Email your complete application to Secretary@andersonsmill.org  by April 2, 2025. 

Incomplete applications will NOT be considered. (specify why any section is not completed)

Please do not include additional attachments beyond what is requested in the application.

Late applications will not be considered.

The scholarship recipient will be notified later in April through his or her school counselor and by email. 

The recipient and his or her family will be invited to attend our scholarship award luncheon on the second Thursday in May, where the scholarship will be formally presented.

The Historic Anderson Mill enjoys funding this annual scholarship and raise money for it in various ways. We make a hand-stitched quilt, which is raffled-off in our community each year. We also raise money through plant and craft sales and accept donations.
